On July 1, Robinhood became the first major retail brokerage with its own blockchain.

Robinhood Chain is Robinhood's AI-native Layer 2 blockchain, built for tokenized real-world assets (RWAs) and 24/7 markets. It's where Robinhood is putting its onchain financial products. These include Stock Tokens for equities like NVIDIA and private companies like SpaceX, stablecoin rails, DeFi lending through Robinhood Earn, and their settlement layer.

It's built on the Arbitrum Orbit framework and is Ethereum-compatible, inheriting its security, ETH as the gas token, and the tooling ecosystem that developers already use.

Since launch, Robinhood Chain has been doing north of $600 million a day in DEX volume, and onchain assets have reached $700M.
