Goldsky Brings Real-Time Data Infrastructure to Arc

Goldsky is live on Arc testnet with subgraphs, Turbo Pipelines, Edge RPC, and Compose, giving builders a direct path from onchain events to application-ready data.

Goldsky is live on Arc testnet, with support planned for the upcoming Arc mainnet launch.

Arc (opens in a new tab) is an open L1 purpose-built for stablecoin finance. Gas is denominated in USDC and transactions reach deterministic finality in under a second. Those properties are great for execution. They do nothing on their own for the systems around a contract: the dashboards, ledgers, alerts, and automated workflows that need to know what just happened and act on it. That gap between deploying a contract and operating a product around it is what Goldsky fills. We joined the Arc ecosystem with support from the Arc Builders Fund to bring that data layer to teams building on Arc.

What we're bringing to Arc

Goldsky offers the full stack for working with Arc data. Each piece handles a different part of making onchain activity useful to a running application.

Subgraphs turn contract events into a structured data model that applications query through GraphQL. Define the contracts and events you care about and get clear, repeatable answers about onchain state: which payments are settled, what the current balance is, which accounts interacted with a contract, what changed over a given period.

Turbo Pipelines are the streaming side. They watch Arc for new activity, keep only the events your application cares about, decode and enrich them with SQL or TypeScript, and deliver the result to your database, queue, or webhook as it arrives. A payments app can tell a pipeline to watch USDC transfers to a set of merchant wallets, shape each one into a record with sender, amount, and time, and push it straight into the operational database.

Edge RPC gives Arc builders a multi-region endpoint with cross-node consensus validation and automatic failover, so applications reading Arc state directly aren't exposed to a single provider's downtime.

Compose closes the loop in the other direction. Where subgraphs and pipelines move onchain activity out to your systems, Compose lets you write TypeScript that moves money, data, and events from offchain systems back onchain, whether that is settling a payment, posting collateral, or publishing a rate, with durable, auditable, verifiable execution.

Most teams will combine them: a subgraph powering customer-facing queries, a pipeline routing the same events into an alerting system or internal ledger, and Compose executing whatever action follows.

What Arc builders can create

  • Payment and settlement tracking: transaction status in dashboards, receipts, customer histories, and support tools.
  • Treasury reconciliation: transfer and contract events routed into accounting databases and internal ledgers.
  • Monitoring and alerting: watch selected contracts, addresses, or events and notify an operations team when conditions are met.
  • Analytics and reporting: structured datasets for product metrics, transaction analysis, and ecosystem dashboards.
  • Market and risk systems: current onchain activity feeding tools that monitor balances, positions, liquidity, or contract behavior.
  • Automated workflows: event streams that let backend services and agents respond to onchain activity, with Compose executing the resulting onchain action.

Why the data layer matters on Arc

Fast finality becomes more valuable if the result reaches the systems that need it. Once an Arc transaction is confirmed, an application can treat it as final rather than waiting out a probabilistic confirmation window. Goldsky carries that final result into the application: the payment status appears, the alert fires, the ledger updates.

USDC gas helps here too. When transaction costs flow into reporting and analytics in the same unit of account as the payments themselves, teams can review costs without a separate gas token workflow.

And stablecoin applications depend on current information. An accounting system needs transaction records. A market application needs live balances. An agent needs a reliable signal before it acts. Arc provides the execution environment. Goldsky gives the backend a direct route to the data it produces.

Build on Arc testnet today

Testnet availability gives teams time to design data models, test operational workflows, and find bottlenecks before mainnet. Teams already running subgraphs elsewhere can bring that model to Arc. Teams that want direct control over their data can stream it into their existing systems.
